 Miss
Take gives a present to Mr Dime from the kids at
the network and at the moment Mr. Dime has a
change of thought about the kids thinking they
aren't so bad after all but when he opens the
present it's a pie that lands in his face and
then he says "They're all bad!!!"
Then
Ross announces to the kids that hye has some good
news and some bad news for them. The good news
was that there is going to be a network Christmas
party but the bad news is that there's going to
be liquor served there and the kids are too young
to go to the party. All are upset.
Kevin
Somers and Jono discuss how to find a way to get
in as they figure that there will be a naked lady
jumping out of a giant cake and find a way to
hide in the cake with her. They go to the studio
cafeteria and ask Lois if they can see the giant
cake that's being shown at the party but it's
just a normal cake.
Kevin
Schenk and Rodney discuss on how they can get
into the party as they know about someone dressed
as a Santa will be there and figure on kidnapping
him in order to get in.
Eventually
neither of their plans work so they ask Christine
on how to get in and she tells them to disguise
themselves as Christmas carolers.
Meanwhile
at the network office, Mr. Dime can't afford to
pay a lady to jump out of a cake as 100 dollars
is in demand to do so and so he tries to get Miss
Take to do so. Also, Mr. Dime practises his Santa
routine but finds it difficult as he is planning
on dressing as Santa for the party. When his
costume arrives it's a nightgown Scrooge costume
as Miss Take tells him she told the people
involved with his costume that he wanted a
costume that represented him the true meaning of
Christmas. Eventually he gets a beard too and is
told he'll be Santa Scrooge.
Vice
President Technician Seth Pool is about to plug
in the Christmas tree but when he does there's a
fuse and the tree is burnt to a crisp.
Towards
the end of the show Mr. Dime enters as Santa
Scrooge while the kids sing him a carol. He tells
them that he has a present for all of them for
the same present he gave to him as he pies each
and every one of them in the face.
Other
memorable skits include Somers and Gebert singing
Christmas carols at a neighborhood door to get
some money. First when someone answers the door
it's the drunken Lance who takes their can of
money, then the next time they ask Lance they are
trying to have a donation for the orphanage and
instead he gives them Rodney, next time they sing
terrible and Christine opens the door and pays
them twice so they can stop singing. Last, they
are singing and Somers is given a piece of coal
cause he was singing trick or treat.
While
Jono is in the dungeon he is given a present by
the dungeon master Sentator Prevort which a ball
and chain. Also, another skit Prevort tells Jono
that the cook is on holidays so he'll be cooking
a Christmas dinner for him and asks him if he
wants a piece of figi pudding and Jono tells him
he'll have any of it so Prevort gives him the
center from it which was the decoration and puts
it in his mouth.
Kevin
Schenk asks his mother if there's going to be a
turkey for Christmas and she says in a sense
there is. She's making duck for their dinner but
his father will be there as usual.
There's
also a burglar who breaks into the family living
room and Schenk has a shot gun in his hand but
the burglar tries to tell him that he's really
Santa and Schenk complains that last year he had
a piano given by him from Santa that he didn't
want as he has to practice it regularly.
Gebert
asks Somers if he still believes in Santa and
Somers tells him that he's too old for that and
Santa appears with a list saying "One piece
of coal for Somers" and Somers tries to
convince himself that it was all just a studio
effect as he's worried that it really was Santa.

This
was a classic Christmas episode without a doubt
and quite humorous. The burglar skit was
originally used in the 1st season of the sister
show You Can't Do That On
Television when it only aired locally
in Ottawa on CJOH-TV.
5 years later the sister show redid a couple
skits for their Christmas episode like when the
mother asks her family if they want a turnkey for
Christmas and told them they'll have to tell the
turkey itself like in this one when the cafeteria
waitress Lois does the same thing or when two
kids were caroling and one of them sings the
wrong song and gets a lump of coal.
